DTA and your employer have a duty of care to ensure that you are studying and learning in a safe and healthy environment.
All at DTA are committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for everyone that attends our centre. DTA has a legal duty to work with other agencies to prevent vulnerable people from significant harm, and to respond to all safeguarding issues.
DTA have a dedicated Safeguarding and Prevent Team, please contact them on the below information if you have any concerns:
Keith McCrorie | Safeguarding Officer | firstname.lastname@example.org
Lauren Heslington | Safeguarding Admin | email@example.com
Claire Gavaghan | Prevent Coordinator | firstname.lastname@example.org
Apprentices will undertake monthly register briefings with their Trainer to cover important subjects such as mental health awareness, the misuse of drugs and alcohol as well as PREVENT and British Values. Relevant news topics that the Safeguarding Team feel are relevant will also be discussed.

DTA adhere a 'blue hand policy' and where you see a blue hand outside of a room is where you will find members of the Safeguarding Team should you wish to raise any concerns.
