Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week

Derwent Training Staff speaking to Visitors

Derwent Training were pleased to welcome over 40 visitors to the training centre on Wednesday 5th February to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week.

Visitors had the opportunity to have a look around our training facilities to explore the different areas of engineering that are available, ask staff about Apprenticeships and find out first hand from employers and their apprentices about what they look for in applicants, and what it's really like to work in engineering.

Thank you to William Hare, McCain Foods, North Sea Winches, BSC Filters and James Fisher Nuclear for supporting the evening. All companies highlighted the great opportunities that are available on our doorstep in North Yorkshire.
