This Level 3 qualification will suit you if you are a practicing electrician, either involved in, or looking to become involved in the inspection and testing of electrical equipment (e.g. portable appliances) and/or involved in managing the process of it.

Course Brief & Learning Outcome:

  • Electrical units of measurement associated with in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment
  • How equipment construction and classification reduces the risk of electric shock
  • Procedures for the in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment
  • Carry out inspection and testing Information contained in the documentation of in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment

Assessment Components:

  • Online Multiple Choice Test (2377-101 - 50 Questions, 105 minutes)
  • Online Multiple Choice Test (2377-201 - 40 Questions, 80 minutes)
  • Practical Assessment (2377-201 - Inspect and test items of electrical equipment
